2018 - 2022.

Before moving to Paris, I lived briefly in Berlin but spent most of my time in my home city; Dublin.

Here is a collection of the work that I made in my formative years.

Dublin.

The city where I was born and raised. I saw it and me change over the years; a lot of memories and people that I had to say goodbye to when I moved to Paris. I took thousands of photos in this city, all stored away on negative 35mm film.

Berlin

I only spent a summer in Berlin; it was more than enough for me. I found it to be a city based around hedonism, where you could meet a handful of lost souls in one day. It was the first times living free, with no expectations for myself or from others; I am glad that I left, but I do think back fondly on those times.

Paris.

I started to travel to Paris at the age of 19. These first few trips to this city showed me the potential of creativity, and how far the people seemed to be pushing themselves to live life differently to what I thought was the norm.

Nightlife.

Life in Dublin surrounds nightlife. Partying is a part of life there. This was my first taste of working as a photographer. My friends would organise parties and I would be booked by them to take photos of people having fun.
